BOUGHT 01 GT!!!!!!!

Today i did it, on mothers day, i bought myself a 2001 GT, laser red, every option except auto. which means its a 5spd. Only got 22,718 miles on it. I paid 12,800 for it, it is in immaculate condition, i found a gem!!! Will post some pics wednesday when i pick it up!

it was an older guy, i don't think he new its value, his daughter owned it in texas and was a kindergarten teacher, she bought and suv and he took it to sell it up here. had to drive 2 hours at 6a.m. to go look at the darn thing, so i am glad it was nice

i was dissapointed because the night before i went and drove 1 hour and 15 minutes to look at a white one that turned out to be in terrible shape and he wanted more money and it had more miles, so, i feel as though i am a lucky sob, i, unfortunately, cannot drive a stick very well at all, but i buddy of mine has exactly the same car (01GT) in white and i got to drive it some tonight, gettin better, i love 5 spds though, it was so much fun drivin it! I pick it up on wednesday at 4:00 p.m., expect tons of pics!

i, unfortunately, cannot drive a stick very well at all, but i buddy of mine has exactly the same car (01GT) in white and i got to drive it some tonight, gettin better, i love 5 spds though, it was so much fun drivin it!

A stick is a blast I was the same way, I saw a SVO for sale in Dallas and drove up to check it out with a friend. My friend drove it back and I learned the basics driving it home after dropping him off I have been stuck on my 5 speed every since Its a little of a trick racing it at first, heck I stalled my SVO the first few races

ouch, i could see where that would make someone angry, bud of mine just paid 13,000 for a 01 with 36000 miles, i told him it was too high, but he wanted it, he regrets it now

I'm feeling that. After I paid $25k for an 01 GT, I felt like an idiot even though the car was brand new. For that price, I shouldn't have to deal with having less horsepower than a friggin Nissan Maxima. ..... I HATE talking about V8's!
