Add me to the list of those considering getting rid of their cars. I havent driven my car in several months and was close to selling it early this year, but didnt because I wasnt certain of what I wanted to do. As of now its sitting in the driveway collecting dust. I have a bunch of parts that are sitting in the garage that I never even installed and many that were installed and never even put to use. If I buy another mustang (03/04 cobra) then I'm definitely getting rid of it. I was even considering parting it out as a final "project" but for now its just gonna keep sitting.

here is my thoughts , that yellow car isnt going anywhere, i have been bugging paul to buy his focus wheels for 6 months and he doesnt even have the focus svt anymore , second he would never get anywhere near what that car is worth to him , third the kids will mis the boom boom car , should i go on lol

Well I know your car is far from stock, but have you ever thought of keeping it for a collectors car? I find most of these newer cars coming out look UGLY, and my stang looks better and better as the years go by.. Although the new cars are quicker they just do not have the feel of a pushrod motor Give it a couple more years and that Vette will be outdated too...

Another very "efficient" option is to keep 2 cars.. 1 for daily driving, and one as "the" sports car..

Lastly, remember quarter mile times and gas mileage aren't everything

Paul I've been there done that. I had an 1986 Grand National with over 500HP and other cool cars. I'd say keep the Mustang. I regret ever selling my 94. My Dad always said if its paid for and you're not hurting for money then don't sell it. Well my boys are older and now they are begging me for a project. My 12 year old will get his wish. Roger and I (Green94 5.0) just picked up 1992 GT and we will be installing all the parts I had on my 94 (Edelbrock RPM Intake, GT40X heads, etc.). We pick it up on Saturday (see sig.).

The Vette is cool. I worked for a Chevy dealership for a few years back in the day. I was so thin (put my feet behind the front wheels and sit on the wheel) back then I invented a quick way to knock out Vette tune-ups in half the time. I was the designated Corvette Tune Up Mechanic. It was all I did everyday. The ZR1 was out and I would test drive them, fun times. Vettes are great but having wrenched on both I'd still prefer the Mustang. Unless you're really hurting for the money hang onto it. Trust me you will regret it like me.
