bought a sn93 S/C today i need some tips on things reguiarding it

42's will defitinaly support more power in the future for you, I would think they could handle up to the 400-450 rwhp mark. You could probably get by on 36's but could just go ahead and at least get the 42's for now, any decent tuner can make them work for you.

You need a FMU w/19# injectors but your always better off getting 42# and a larger MAF since you need one for the new injectors. It adds up quickly when you get larger injectors since you will need a tuning device also.(PMS,Tweecer,Chip)

Have to disagree with the larger injector theory on the ol ball drive paxtons. Keep it real and don't overspeed them and they will run fine with 19's and an FMU. My combo runs fine with 24's and a FMU hitting 60psi of fuel at 6psi of boost. No drame and it's a lot cheaper vs the 42's and aggrevation of running them.

With the SN, run some B+M trick shift fluid or synthetics and it'll pick up some more boost. I also run homemade powerpipes and ported the blower outlet as much as I could to get it to flow decent.

30# injectors at stock fuel pressure with no fmu safely made 429 rwhp at 10 psi for me, and it was still pretty rich (11.8) why the crap does everyone go so overboard with fuel?? It's not 10000 horsepower, I bet the stock 19's with an FMU will be great

It is not that it will run fine/great with 19lb injectors and FMU but if your going to a supercharger you will want more and it is cheaper now to upgrade then doing it over and over. The problem with a FMU is they can not be trusted at times to work correcly and they are also not tuned they are just throwing fuel, lots of fuel at your motor and they take the 19lb injectors to 150%+ over the recommended use and can cause and have caused the injectors to jam open or closed which will cause a huge rich condition if you lucky but usually a lean condition occurs. ALso never run a Synthetic fluid in a 'SN' ball drive. The ball drive uses friction to operate and synthetic does not allow that and you will damage the impeller shaft or the balls in the unit. Use Type 'F' as recommended it is cheap and change it every 3000 miles. If you want more knowledge on these units visit www.superchargerhelp.com
