Went out today after work and bought my gun. Its a Ruger P90 .45. Bought it and went right to the range. It fires nice. Everybody told me I couldn't handle a 45 but its just like shooting my bro in law's 9mm. With everything gun, holster, 2 boxes of shells, the Instant check and all the taxes it was under $500. Heres some pics and a vid of me shooting 3 shots (range only allows 3 rounds per clip)

Vids kinda goofy had to like beg my bro in law to record me shooting and he only did after a bunch of kids did it and everybody was gone lol. And i need a hair cut bad lol

Why do you want to carry it? I'm pretty much a hick at heart and have been shooting since before I could even hold a rifle to my shoulder, but the thought of carrying a pistol has never occured to me. I know my limits and I'd be afraid of what I might do if I had a gun at the few times I lose my temper. The way I've seen you get hot over very minor stuff on here makes me worry about you. I don't mean this as a flame or anything, its just an observation and question. What made you get one to carry?

The vid was cool in that as it was loading it froze and buffered right as you fired the first shot and you could see the flames coming from the barrel... that was neat!

Wheres Guero lol figured he'd be the first to post. Its not what I originally wanted. I wanted a P90 but wanted an all alloy look I think thats what they call it like this

I called and asked if they had any in stock he said they had 2. I wasked what color he said black and a 2 tone I figured it was the one i wanted. Got there and the one I bought was the 2 tone. Its all good cause i like it and i think the other one that i wanted cost more.

theres lots of reason to carry one.

Everyone I know who has carried a handgun pretty much did it to show everyone that they're pack'n, or they were just WAY TOOO paranoid. I remember going to my friend's house like 7:30 am to pick up by bike and ride to campus. I knocked on the door and guess who answers, his roomate Brad with his glock. It's one thing to be weary of threats but another to be completely paranoid.

ANyway, this would be the next handgun I buy to complement the S&W .357

Smith & Wesson .44 mag 629 Classic :D

Wow that is nice...and a nice price. congrats...

might have to check that out...been wanting to pick up a sig, but I like ruger. The father-in-law and wifes uncle are going to get a CCW permit and asked if I wanted to do it also...its like a group discount and saves 25$ for the cert. class (joke BTW), wifes cousin asked if he could just throw rocks and save the ammo for something further than the 6-8ft target. Plus the test guy has one of those auto pist. and for 5$ you can shoot it:D

clip holds 7.

John thats a nice .44. My bro in law wants the Ruger Super Black Hawk which is a 44 revolver so someday i might get to shhot one of them too.

Like i said in other threads i think I used to carry my dad's 38 revolver. To be honest I didn't feel safe carrying it. Theres no safety and i wore it on my back. So I was scared everytime i sat the hammer would catch on something and shoot me in the ass lol

lol. only reason i dont like geting a .45. only 7 rounds. im getting a .40 which holds around 13 to 14. I figure if i shoot the guy twice and he still gets up, the gun is pointless and i better start running. lol btw, im looking at this one for now View attachment 489437

 here in AZ you have to shoot to kill.lol. if you say you just wanted to disarm him you'll get in trouble.lol yeah so unloading the clip is shooting to kill lol

Carry it???It's one thing to protect yourself and family when your at home but to carry it along when you leave the house seems like a problem waiting to happen.Everybody loses their cool once in a while from the punk ricer cutting you off to your girlfreind's/wife's exboyfreind talkin smack at the bar.Having a gun in your pocket when that happens sound like trouble. The way you guys are talking it sounds like your expectin to have to use deadly force on someone.Just my 02 dont wana piss any of you guy's off though.LOL
