i recently sold my Ford Lightning and think I was spoiled to it. With a few extra bolt ons I had it running 12.2's, probably woulda hit 11s if I ever had the perfect launch/temperature, conditions, etc
anyway, I sold it about a year ago and just now bought a 1992 Mustang GT. I have wanted one of these foxbody's since i was in junior high. This is my first mustang. Its almost completely stock. Has 3.73 gears and full exhaust and thats it. Im going to be doing some restoration things at first (needs minor interior work mainly) but I would like to get down a blueprint on my goals for the car.
the car will mainly be a driver, will not really see track except for a few occasions just to have fun. But i would like to get it to about same place I had my lightning. My lightning dyno'd at 432rwhp, wont need to go that high since car is lighter, better aerodynamics, etc... when all is said and done, id love to have an 11sec street car without having to do a huge rebuild of forged iternals, etc
I know some will say slap on a 150shot of NOS or whatever and waalaa, but id like to NOT go that route. I know I am ignorant and pretty much know NOTHING about it, but i would perfer to not do that...
i did a little research, and although maybe not the cheapest solution, here is what I came up with... looking for any advice/tips/suggestions/correctiosn I can get... thanks
Full Exhaust (already have)
3.73 Gears (already have)
Kenne Bell 1.5 Supercharger
AFR 165cc heads
Cobra Lower Intake
Cold Air Kit
MILD cam
Suspension/Chasis upgrade (struts,shocks,springs,etc)
Shifter
Injectors/Fuel Pump (what sizes?)
Alum Driveshaft
Alum Radiator / Electic Fan
GOOD SAFE DYNO TUNE
