I just bought a pair of Silverstar Headlights for the car and it blew the fuse...so i was like wtf and replaced the 15A fuse blew almost immediately...Are these lights too much for the stock car. The headlights still work but none of the dash/hvac control/taillights work. I have no mods this is pretty much just a daily driver for me to commute to work and lights are pretty important..i think

Does anyone know what might cause this. I tried searching the post but didn't find anything similiar. Thanks

Also if i were to replace the 15A with a 20A will it screw anything up or cause a unwanted problem

The wiring is only rated for 15 amps, so don't put a 20 amp fuse in unless you want an electrical fire.

If the stock lamps work OK without blowing fuses, use them. If not, then you have an electrical problem that requires careful inspection of all the headlight wiring.

I'm running Silverstars in my 1994 GT and have been for about 3months with no problems with fuses or anything.
