bought some scorpion RR's...will they fit

you can fit them under stock cover with modification. I have stud mouted ones. take the baffle out of the cover with the oil fill. cut and die grind all the mounting spots on that cover. With a die grind you can make them fit. I did

I had a set of proform rockers which are close to the same iirc like 1of1 said with the oil baffle out they fit, altho I could never get them to not tick like a mofo (yes I know proform is JUNK) :)

I have scorpion 1.6 pedestal mount on my 93 and retained the stock valve covers. I did have to do some grinding on the inside of the valve cover but it wasn't too much. The biggest thing was that I had to remove and rework my oil fill baffle. I have also heard of guys stacking the reusable valve cover gaskets to get enough clearance.

scorpions are beefy sonsabitches and will require removal of the baffle and some grinding around on the valve cover. my friend had to do this with his. if they are the same as your. post some pics!

Ok well I got them last week and 5 of them had the tip roller that were stuck...I soaked them in the parts washer with new solvent in a jug for a week. Last night after work I took them out and they were still stuck. So I held the roller wheel under hot water and guess what it started to roll. So I did that to all of them and now they all roll perfect. I soaked them all on the 4L jug with hot water then put them back in the parts washer solvent. I will let them sit for the weekend again and then wash them up good and store them in some 5W30 untill I use them.
