Well i just got done installing my offroad h, i reset the computer and im noticing the idle bounces a little and wants to stick sometimes. I noticed it mostly happens when i let off the gas in first gear and come to a stop, it goes all the way down to 500rpms and comes close to dying then comes back up. Any suggestions?

Your pipe swap shouldn't have affected your idle at all, unless you messed with a wire somewhere, or were playing with the TB or IAC.

Did you reset the PCM? I.E. disconnect the battery during the install and reconnect afterward?

Rear ones shouldn't affect idle, all they do is monitor the efficiency of the catalytic converters.

well i know we did a good job when we extended the two front ones

does it take time for the computer to get used to the new exhaust? If so then that oculd be the problem, ive only driven about 5 miles so far..

Hence your crappy idle.

1. Your o2 sensors might be reversed (front/back, not left/right).
2. Your MIL job might not be doing what you had hoped.
3. There's a loose connection on your front o2's.

This assumes all else remains the same.

There's your problem, man. You have to fool/loop the reading going back to the PCM from the rear o2's after removing your cats.

but why woudl not having mil eliminators and the check engine light effect how my car runs?

BTW ran the codes and this is what i got: p0174: the pcm has determind during the testing that the fuel system for bank 2 was too lean. (bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder 1 while bank 2 identifies cylinders on opposite bank)

My Mil has been on for ages and I have no problems and consistently get 21-24 mpg. I will eventually get a tuner to kill the rear O2 sensors though.

Does anyone know where to buy an already extended 02 sensor thats like 12 inches?

Any parts store can hook you up. NAPA, Autozone, O'Reilly's.
