Do you really need a BOV with a supercharger running low psi?

Yes he needs it.
You have to use it like a bypass valve if you blow it off the car WILL NOT be running correctly as you are letting metered air out.
Since the Vortech cars put the meter BEFORE the bypass you have to recirculate it..any setup (procharger/turbo) with the meter after the valve it is fine to vent it wether its supercharged/turbo'd

okay so i have figured out how to recirculate the blow off valve back to the motor so since i have a power pipe on the car also would this mean me having to run a long tube down to inside the fender wall before the mass air right

No, the air has already gone through the MAF. It needs to re-enter after the MAF, but before the supercharger. If you do it before the MAF you'll be measuring it again....

U dont have to have the re-circle flange..my hose fits over my Greddy..but it will make it a lil easier

I go for budget though..hehe

BOV will work on turbo but not supercharged cars.

And to think..some people would prob take this advice..haha
You couldnt be more wrong.
Call Vortech..call Greddy..then come back and edit your post again.

To clarify..
If the air is re-circulated..a BOV will work just like a Bypass valve

BOV/Bypass either will work

Humm.... what makes you think that? It's my understand that in a forced induction setup, at the point where a bypass / blow-off valve comes into play, they're both essentially doing the same thing.

A bypass valve is a valve between the t/b and the power adder that vents extra pressure built up from the compression of the air. If the valve vents the extra pressure to the atmosphere, it is called a blow off valve. If the extra pressure is vented back into the inlet of the power adder, it is called a bypass valve.

And really the only reason to use it as a BYPASS instead of a BLOW-OFF is if all this happens AFTER the MAF. If the MAF is AFTER the BYPASS/BLOWOFF, it can vent to the atmosphere...
