After installing my O/R H-pipe and the Super 40's, I can barely stand to leave the windows down, smells like my friends 'ol 91 that was practically un-streetable. What did I do, not get the H-pipe tight? Somebody in here warned me to go to the Ford dealership and get a manifold to H-pipe gasket, but what did I do? Used the one MAC sent..........

Nah thats normal for a catless mid pipe. All those nice emissions are just flying out of your exhaust instead of getting burned off.

If it sounds like you have an exhaust leak then re do the gasket, if not then dont worry about it.

Take it off, go get a new gasket from the dealer. Problem solved (if that was your problem lol)... Does it sound like there is an exhaust leak (tractor sounding)?

I especially like the looks, and the rolling of the eyes, the teachers give me that are there to assist my 2nd grade daughter in getting out of the car each morning. Ah, screw 'em, they got Good Friday and the following Monday off this past week.

That's EXACTLY it! So I take it the culprit was the pass. side header conncection?

I almost like the smell, but then I'm quite used to it by now.

I've been told though by several people after they've driven behind me that the fumes are rediculous, especially at WOT.

MAC shouldn't send those gaskets out because they're no good. When i saw it for the first time, i just threw it away. Get a Ford gasket and you'll be ready.

I have the exact same exhaust leak (ticking) on my stock h-pipe, but I plan to take care of that with a new mac o/r h and a gasket from ford I would blame the gasket
