brace problems

i had to cut the brace out of the bottom of my 94 GT convertable to fit my long tube headers now the brace won't go back in because the header is in the way. do i need the brace?::

i assume your talking about the x-brace not the k-member right? its not a needed brace but any chassis bracing is a good idea to have on there.

Get some full length subframe connectors welded in and don't worry about the X brace.

I have a vert as well and when i did the K-member, i got rid of that x brace, You will need nice set of sub-frame connectors to balance it out, if you got long tubes, i believe MM makes X brace for the 94-95, if you still have stock K-member
