Hi
Any one besides me have these !!! Working several projects on the mustang one being the fuel rails..... Bought Mallory rail kit with regulator. Directions show it being mounted to the rail.. Pretty simple fuel goes in and fuel goes out... Besides hitting the distributor, another story, Any dummy can do that.!!!

Didn't like mounting on the rail so decided to mount it somewhere else. Then the problems began... see it shows the fuel going into the regulator then out the other side. OK..... where do I have room for this?? Decided the passenger side fender or strut tower would be good, close to the fuel lines.. Bought several adapters $$ right angle, 45 degree, swivel, in 6an, 8an,, npt etc. couldn't find anything that worked in the space I had. Thursday night decided to give it some time getting frustrated and waiting on more parts.
Anyway after throwing money at it, realized Friday night that I didn't have to go through the regulator going to the fuel rail but could go straight to the rail!!! The regulator controls pressure by regulating the output of the rail.
Much simpler.
Perhaps I am trying too many projects at once this year.
Sure didn't plan this one out!! Anyway spent quite a few night being frustrated and now see the light at the end of the tunnel, might even start it this coming week!!
