Can a master cylinder from a 93 cobra fit the brake booster from a 94 and up cobras. i am planning to put this brake system in my 91 mustang gt. but i heard that if you put a booster from a 94 cobra on a fox body you need to do some modifications. the thing is that i already have the master cylinder for a 93 cobra and i heard that this set up would give better braking.

Can't answer your question, but I'm running the '93 Cobra MC with my '89 stock booster and the pedal feel/effort is really good.

Good Luck!

A 93 cobra booster would be ideal to go with the cobra M/C as the 93 Booster has the same stud pattern and thread pitch as the fox.

When I say Stud pattern I am talking about the 4 studs that go through the firewall, not the 2 that hold the M/C on. Your M/C would work with the other boosters, its just that a 93 Cobra would be easier. That are not easy to find, but you can purchase a rebuilt one, even Ford gives you a rebuilt one in the M-2300-K kit.

no the cobras came with ABS in 94. find a 94-95 6 cylinder booster same part number as the fox's. if you swaped rear brakes then use the 94-95 master cylinder.

A 93 Cobra Booster is a better choice than a SN95 Unit if 1 can be found.
