Ok i disconnected the master cylinder from the brake booster the other dayand it was all dirty inside there so i cleaned it out. Anyways I dont know if im seeing things or not but, the shaft that goes into the M/C is there suppose to be a little plastic cap on it, like one the end where it kinda looks like a acorn nut? i dont know if i was just "trippin" or seeing things cus it was black before i cleaned it and now its silver (metal)color. plus i thought i saw something go flying off when i put a brush to it.

Help me so i know im not insane. lol

It's normal. The acorn nut is the adjuster nut on the end of the brake booster pushrod. If you upgrade to rear disk brakes in the future, they will require a larger bore M/C. Generally speaking, an ajustment has to be made on the acorn nut which will allow the pushrod to extend futher to compensate for the new distance required for the pushrod to extend.
