Brake Compromise

This kit comes with the SS brake hoses. As for the rest well your next brake job you can add whatever pads and discs you like.

all im gonna say is that for me, my 2000 Cobra R front setup with Hawk pads and 04 Cobra rear setup with Hawk pads was a compromise.

the cobra/baer kit is good, the Cobra kit is better, but for best braking you want the Willwood 6pot rod racing front and 4 pot rear.

Those are GT rotors, won't work with the Cobra calipers - need 13's.

are you doing it for looks or stopping or both.

if you are just wanting a bit better stoping I would do mach 1 calipers, stainless lines, get rotors on ebay ( I used rotorpros). then I would add a bit more aggressive pad and sell the stock ones on ebay.

if you want looks spend more on the painted calipers. I would get zinc plated rotors either way.

don't expect a night an day difference in one stop performance though. especially if you stay with the stock pads.

I got most of the parts as a gift to do my bullitt brake upgrade. the only think I bought was the rear bracket kit. had the money came out of my pocket performance wise I would have been dissapointed. the setup looks ten times better than stock though.
