I began working on my brake upgrade today. PowerSlot rotors, EBC "Greenstuff" pads and Russell SS lines as well as all new calipers. The Lt rear went pretty smooth, then I started on the Rt rear. Got the caliper, support bracket and rotor off. Next I began to unscrew the fitting to the flex hose and the line had frozen to the fitting and the steel line twisted and broke. It broke about 4" from the line nut connecting to the flex line. I finished putting the caliper, pads and rotor on as well as the SS line but somehow I have to fix the broken line from the master cyl. I am considering putting a new piece on the end and connecting it to the steel line with a compression union. I know it's not the right way to do it but I don't know what else to do. The broken line goes the length of the car and I can't even see how I could replace it. If I can't make a repair I'm going to have to have the car towed somewhere to make the repair. I'm sick!! Any ideas?
