i converted to a manual transmission in my 95' and cannot figure out how in the hell the brake light switch mounts to the pedal assembly or what parts are needed. i have the little switch that plugs into the wiring harness and when i squeeze it it works but i think there may be something im missing. any help or pics of the pedal assembly would be great. thanks.

I just dealt with this on my Cobra conversion, but I had a donor car to take all the parts from and see how it works. You have the black switch with the flanges that go over the post the booster slides on to, right? I also had a black plastic grommet, a white nylon washer and a cotter pin to hold it all on together. Do you have these parts? They should be the same off of the auto pedal assembly. If you can find 'em, I can help you put it all together.

Yeah the switch slides over the rod and onto the pedal with a white washer behind it and in front of it then the cotter pin holds it in place. If youre missing any parts, Fod dealerships have them in stock due to the recall for Taurus / Sable brake light switches that were plastic. They went back to the metal style.
