Brake Light woes

K I recently replaced my electrical harness with the EZ wiring mini 21; Last week before i left for the week i checked the brake lights and the left brake didn't work but the turn signal did, adn the right brake and turn signal worked. Well, I came today to check it out, and i looked at the connection it looked fine, i pressed the brake and it worked... hmm... I put in a kill switch, wired up teh courtesy lights, tested my gauge wiring and then right before calling it a day i checked the brakes again... and this time both are out... the parking lights work and so do turn signals but the brake lights are not working... Any idea wat could be causing this bizarre phenomenon?

i believe the contact springs in the bulb are ok, because when it stops working, there is no voltage coming to the wire but i'll check it when i get home.

Which one is the signal light switch? The turn signal switch? Is that where it separates to the left and right side? I'll consult Ez wiring tech support about that too. When i have my left blinker on and turn, the signal turns off automatically, but when i have my right blinker on and turn it stays on, is that an indication of a bad turn signal switch?

Edit: This is just theoretical talk here, I won't be able to look at the car and do stuff until friday night or saturday when i go home.

ok, i came home; and decided to check the voltage coming to the voltage switch power wire. and it didn't have any voltage coming from it; so I decided to check the fuse... and sure enough... it was blown... Any idea why it would blow? I just want to make sure i didn't do something when i was rewiring that could potentially cause problems in hte future
