i'll check that when i go back out. It does seem to do it most when you push on the brake. i was gonna check the fluid but haven't yet. Looked like christmas lights this morning going to work with the brake light and CEL flashing on and off

Air in the lines will do the same thing. Have you had any leaks recently? replaced the brakes recently?

You think that's bad? Try having a CEL, low oil light, low coolant light, brake light, and ABS light on at the same time! (I think I got you beat, lol)

Your fluid is most definitely low. I would NOT recommend just filling it up though. Brake fluid does not just disappear. Either your pads are worn down, causing your MC to displace more fluid to push the pads further, or you have a leak somewhere. Probably more likely your pads are low. Check your fluid level, then check your pads.

the brake light turns on only when emergency brake is on and when the float inside the brake fluid reservoir reaches a certain low level.fill fluid to proper level and ensure float is operating correctly you can look into filler hole and see float it should be floating on top of fluid.

I looked and the res. is a little low i'll put some in tomorrow and see what happens. Chris as i said before my pads are fine i had them off when i did all the suspension crap and they where like brand new. Its possible there was some ai i the line or something cause the res got low when i theft the lines off all that time. I'll fill it and see what happens and if it still comes on I'll make sure all my fittings are tight. Maybe the caliper I rebuilt didn't hold up LOL. Thats why I only did 1.

JT off topic. In that other thread you said about cleaning your egr valve what do you use to clean it or do you just scrape that crap off of the inside?

Something innocuous like WD40 can be used, along with a bore brush.

Good luck.

Yea, you hadn't posted when I started my reply. When I posted it, I saw you had just posted about your pads, but I was too lazy to edit my post, lol.

Pulled the wheel looked like it was leaking from the banjo fitting thing. Tightened it up. It was pretty tight to begin with so i don't know what was wrong with it. Also checked my valve cover bolts and they were loose again need to get better bolts or lock washers on them when i do the head swap

Did you remember to use a washer between the fittings in the banjo connection (if a washer was used originally)?
