Hey all, I'm new around here. I always post on SVTPerformance, but I am really in need of some help/advice so I come to you. The car is a 2004 Cobra, but I figured this problem could occur on any later 4.6 mustang.

Well for some reason my car decided it was going to start popping the brake light/cruise control fuse. It didn't ever do this the first month I had it and then I let the car sit for a few weeks and the original fuse was popped. It has popped the last four I've put in it too. If I put it in when the car is already running it won't pop. It's not until I turn the car off and back on that it pops. Has anybody had something similar happen? The car is pretty much bone stock and for it to just do this out of the blue without me doing anything to the car has me at a loss??? ANY advice/help with this would be greatly appreciated.

first off, has the car ever been in an accident?

does the fuse blow when you press the brake pedal or only you turn the ignition off and then back on? is it intermittent or can you duplicate the problem everytime?
