Hi all,
Straight after having a brake test on a roller for its annual MOT test,my 96 GT started a noise from the front brakes when braking.
Its almost like the ABS is working when it shouldn't......doesn't do it every time i brake, and seems to make a noise on every revolution of the wheels.
Has anyone had the same problem?????

So where in England are you?
I have spent 12 years at RAF Mildenhall.
Anyway I would perform several back to back stops on a quiet road to put some heat into the rotors and clean off the pads.
Depending on the age of the pads I would also look to see how much pad life remains, you may be on the wear indicators.

could be rotors getting warped, if your abs was jacked you would have rough abrupt stops

Its almost as if something is knocking or grinding against something else.....as soon as it started I changed the pads.
I'm in Kent.......been to the air display day at Mildenhall a couple of times....great day out!!!

1. how many miles?

2. how were the rotor surfaces when you changed pads?

3. did you check the rotors to see if there was any warpage at all?

91000 miles.
The disc surfaces were very good, and there was certainly no obvious warping
