recently Ive been getting a slight squeek from my brakes and Im wondering if its time for new pads. Ive owned the car for 20,000 miles and it currently has 85,000 on it. Do you guys recommend new pads bc im not sure how long they have been on there. What do you recommend?

change them , they are easy to change

get some ceramics so they dont constantly dump dust on your wheels

Why don't you have your brakes spec'ed? Doesn't one of the major brake places offer this--measure pad depth, rotor thickness? If they're close to being worn, replace them (yourself).

I went to NAPA and asked for their top shelf ceramic pads. Tell them you work for FEDEX and it is like 20% off or at least it is here in Memphis. I have recently changed them to the ceramics and have no brake dust whatsoever any more.

I also agree with huesmann in having them inspected especially the rotors to see if you can turn them or they need replacing BUT if you are tired of the constant dust, replace them anyway. Cheap peace of mind
