I just installed a new power master cylinder in my 65. Used a unit from SSBC with the original pedal. Having trouble figuring out the adjustable pushrod. How do you know how far to adjust it out? The pedal is just resting against the rubber stop but seems as if it has to move a long way before any appreciable stopping force is felt in the brakes.

thanks
mike

Did you ever figure this out?

I just picked up a pd disc conv. for my 66. Was thinking the same thing about the adjustment on the new adjustable pushrod.

Did you guys go from manual to power brakes ? If so that could be your problem right there. I think power and manual pedals have different ratios.
