what are the two sensors on my aod-e brake pedal? one looks like the brake light sensor with wires running to an electronic connection which engages when i hit the pedal. the other one however is a hose/ tube with a plunger that is engaged when i let off my brake pedal, i cant think of what it is and im just trying to see what i can get rid of when switching to the t-5 pedal assembly. i also have to rip out the old phone system wiring that the previous owner had installed, it's snaked through the clutch cable opening in the firewall to the battery, and runs up the A-pillar and across the top of the windshield to a small antenna on the inside corner of the windshield. does anyone have any tips or warnings about taking that windshield trim apart? BTW, tis a convertable

sounds like the neutral safety switch so you cant take it out of park unless the brake is depressed

ya, i thought so... does it just connect to the auto shifter, or does it connect to a sensor and to the trans harness?
seems like it would just be to the shifter, but i just dont completely get how it works... because as soon as the pedal moves even the slightest bit i can take it out of park pretty much before the plunger moves at all
