Ok, i want to have some more stopping power for my car, but i really dont feel like spending up to 2K to do it! (college kid on a budget!!). So...my question is if i get some cross-driller rotors and some Hawk brake pads, or some pads similar to those, would this add better stopping power?? Would cross-drilled rotors work with the stock calipers on an 00GT?? I have no idea what will work with the stock calipers! I dont know if i want to go with the cobra brake kit cause i heard that it isnt too much better than the brakes on the GT (chime in if thats incorrect!). My understanding is that the cobra brakes just dont fade as fast etc...so you guys give me some suggestions on how to get better stopping power w/o spending an A55 load of $$$!
