I dont have much brake experience and I'm trying to replace the padds on the front of my stang, but I cant get the calipar to fit over the new padds. It looks like I need to get the piston to go in, how do you do this? Thanks

My Stang has drums so I've never done it on the car buy my old Jeep had discs. I used a C-clamp and a piece of metal or wood and clamp the piston back down, remove the clamp and it should stay in the down/in position...

I'd also recommend that you crack the bleeder valve open slightly. It makes pushing the piston in pretty easy. I usually just use the end of a hammer to push it in. Then just close the bleeder valve and your set. I've never had a problem doing it this way; no need to bleed the brakes when your done as the piston won't move out by itself to suck in air.
