You can buy fox-specific SS lines.

The difference bewtween SN95 and Fox lines is where it bolts up to the hard lines at the body. The Fox and Sn95 use different sizes hence the reason you need an adapter on the pass side.

Most SS line kits use a round universal type head which bolts to pretty much all calipers. So if you get aftermarket lines, you can use fox ones and still work with all calipers.

Usually, people who do SN95 brake conversions use the OEM SN95 line since the Fox OEM lines won't fit on Sn95 calipers. That's when you need the adapter fitting.

With SS lines, you can use either the SN95 (with adapter) or the fox lines

i got my front banjo bolts with the stainless lines i got, ended up being like $55 for the lines, banjo's and washers. i got the rears from my local autozone. just got them out of the little black drawers behind the counter. they were pretty unorganized, but i think the part numbter is 484 201.1. just take in one of what ever caliper you need and look behind the calender.

If I go with these lines, it seems to me like I wouldn't have to adapt anything...correct?

if your buying new, yes those are the ones. they'll work fine with the 03-04 cobra set you have linked.

OK. I still want to do this upgrade, but the price is scaring me a bit. I'm at $1682.00 + shipping

1. Can anybody confirm my list is complete?

2. Any alternate places to buy parts from to help lower the overall cost?

Thanks again for everyone's help.

My total out of pocket was about $1000.
Keep in mind i was already 5 lug so i did not need axles.
Only used parts i had were the 95 spindles, cobra MC, and rear calipers.

I wouldn't use the baer kit. it requires baer specific front rotors, on a modified fox spindle.
And utilizes the same pbr calipers that are on the cobra or bullit.

I already have SN95 spindles and rear 5 lug axles.
I'd LOVE to get this down to ~$1000.

Goto buyfordracing.com and re price some of the stuff.
Rear Calipers are only $199, and Fronts with rotors are $429 (less if you don't want red)
Most of the PBR calipers are the same, some take different banjo bolts.
But skim through the pricing, you are paying a premium for the red setup.

Sweet! I checked out their site (again) and am now individually using the Cobra front kit and rear kit. I want to stay with slotted front rotors, so I did not look at the caliper/rotor kit. I saved over $100.00! Thanks 2000xp8.

Question - do dust shields really do much? When I bought my '94 spindles, the dust shields weren't in the best of shape, so I took them off. Since I am redoing the brakes all around, here's teh perfect opportunity to install new ones...Is it worth it?

They are spash shields, not really dust shields as where would the prevent dust from going? The underside of the car?

They are to prevent water spray from the opposite wheel from splashing directly on the rotor.

If you never plan on driving this car in the rain, leave them off. If you do, i'd put them on as cold water on a hot rotor directly sprayed can give you a quick loss of braking power.

They are like $8 from a ford dealer anyway.

I didn't use the dust shields on my fronts (i don't think i did at least, lol).
And i'd skip the booster as i said earlier, i didn't do it, and mine works fine. And the baer kit doesn't come with it either.

It's been a year and half since mine was done, and it looks like caliper and rotor pricing is up since that time.
I got my bullit fronts NIB (red with pony on it) for like $189
Rotors on Ebay NIB cross drilled slotted brembo's for $125 on ebay.
And rear calipers were used for $65 on ebay.

I also used a wildwood PP valve (identical to FMS) for $39

So that should make up most of the difference in our cost.

If I cut out the front dust shields and brake booster, I'm at ~$1350.00
It's probably the best I will be able to do with all new parts. Guess I gotta start buying!

Used GT/V6 calipers with slight "clearancing" on the U-bracket = Same as Cobra calipers

The caliper is the same, just the bracket is different. It's slotted wider for the larger Cobra rotor. A little machining and you can open it up easily.

I got mine for $50 or so.

Granted some people don't want used stuff.

I personally would do the booster, but that's just me
