Brakes and power steering

Hello all,
My 87 GT is having some trouble braking. Whenever applyinng the brakes the whole car shakes. I am setting an appt over my spring break(next week) to have them fixed. Also am getting the power steering looked at, it leaks like crazy, I'm hoping its just worn out hoses and not the whole pump. I was just wondering if you all knew what could be the problem with my brakes? It just shakes violently when braking. Also, about what kind of bill will I be looking at when I get back from my trip and pick my car up? Thanks

For your brakes the rotors are probably warped. This is not worth paying someone to fix, probably like $200 in labor alone for and hour's worth of work (likely 30 minutes for some guys here).
I'd suspect the rack to be leaking at the inner tie rods.
If it were the pump you'd probably be able to see it leak.
