Hi,

Does anyone have experience or used a Baer front disc brake system? Also I am planning on using a 17 x 9 Ford racing wheel off of the new SVT Cobra, will that fit in terms of physical size (width) and bolt patterns? I think the bolt patterns may be off, I am not sure. But if anyone has used new model wheels and/or these brakes any information would be great.

Thanks

see my sig. My 17" wheels clear my calipers, but I've heard that 16" wheels won't. I'm not sure, but I think that the Baer discs (made by PBR) are almost the exact same setup found on newer Cobras and some Corvettes. My bolt circle is 5x4.5", which didn't change as a result of the conversion.

Make sure the backspacing on the new SVT wheels is compatible with what you have now.

Dodgestang has a great chart on his website which should help you with the backspacing issues.

I hope this helps, and good luck. And BTW, the Baer conversion is very simple (I did the whole 4 wheel swap in one day), and they work great.
