Well after much intrepidation and going back & forth between having someone else do it and doing it myself, I finally just manned up and did it in my garage!! New brembo Slotted rotors front/rear & new FMS calipers at all four corners. I also got a 5 hose stainless braided kit as well. I didn't even break anything during the job :nice:

As a side note, I have attached the Brembo memo on the slot orientation of their rotors. This was included with the rotors. There was a debate on here regarding this. This should clear things up.

Thanks for looking.
Gabe

wow, nice brakes.
how much for those ?

Hey thanks :D

The calipers were $400 for all four (Summit)
The rotors were $550 (Maximum Motorsports) :(

I could have gotten a better deal if I wanted to wait but I needed brakes ASAP and these places had their stuff in stock and got them to me in 2 days.

I just noticed that cobra badge on your car? Is it not a cobra or did u just replace the calipers on it?

Yeah it's a 1994 Cobra, #4429 built 7/23/94. I replaced the 12 yr old Cobra calipers with new Cobra calipers. I needed to replace the rears and just went and got new fronts as well since I was doing everything else. :D

do i really need the cobra master cylinder since i am going to upgrade to the cobra brakes up front an dthen later int he back?

I think that most of the guys who do the Cobra upgrade, don't upgrade the MC. I am not sure htough, because my car is a Cobra (hint, hint)
