I've got an odd problem... whenever I turn and brake (moderately to hard) at the same time I get an annoying chatter/vibration and faint chattering sound. The sound feels like it's coming from the rear...

I'm sure this problem has been addressed before, thanks for any help.

Mine suggestion would be to take the wheel off and pull off the caliper and inspect the pads, rotors, and any connecting bracketry...look for anything that could be loose. Also while your under there I would turn the rotors and make sure they spin freely. I would also pull in and out on the axle and look for any play in the rearend. Good Luck.

Smeech, if yours is like mine what you're feeling is the ABS system doing its thing, for some reason. Perhaps the system is a bit oversensitive regarding wheel speed differences and sharp turns produces enough of a difference between the inner and outer wheels to cause the system to "kick in". I get the usual ABS feedback in the pedal once in a while on my 02 when turning sharply and braking like when turning into a driveway. Maybe you're feeling the same thing...
