If you want red calipers, you can buy the 10th Anniversary Cobra set, it's about the same price as the standard Cobra calipers and the powder coat is nicer than any paint job.

I changed out my calipers just using the Haynes manual. If I can do it, anyone can.

I saw a write up on changing the rear rotors and they pulles the entire axel out, is that really necessary for that?

You do have to pull the xles out - I od'nt see how you can get acess to the bolts otherwise. On the other hand, can't you just use the Cobra calipers on the rear of a GT with the smaller rorotrs? Isn't the caliper and pad the same?

i belive tha calipers/pads are the same but they use a different mounting bracket so you can use a larger rotor

The rear Cobra calipers are exactly the same as the GTs, just a different mounting bracket and bigger rotor. As for upgrading the fronts I would definately upgrade to the Cobra equipment and stainless lines..

My point exactly. Therefore, you should be able to install the 10th anniv. calipers on the smaller GT rotor with not further modification to bracket, axles, rotor etc, correct?

I bougth the 10th anniversary buyford racing kits for front and rear. 10th anniversary... had the parts in a few days and installed in one long day with a buddy...

GO FOR IT...

The only snag we had was that the banjo bolts supplied were bad. the first one snapped off at about 8 lbft and it was supposed to see 14-20 lbft...
