I know this is a dumb question, but I am not all that familiar with braking systems and I need to know how to tell if I have single or 4-piston disc brakes.
Is there an obvious item to look for that will help identify them with out taking them apart?

Post a pic.

In the meantime, if you brakes are stock, they are 4-pot Kelsey-Hayes fixed-caliper.

Remove wheel.
Remove brake pads.
Look into caliper and count pistons.
