Hey guys... I need some quick suggestions.
About a month ago, I was run off the road by a semi, and ended up popping over the curb, with my front left, and rear left tires...
Ever since, it's making a clunking/clicking noise when the brake pedal is pressed in. Softly pressing on it doesn't make any noises really.
Just a few months back, my brother's '95 Cobra was making the same sound, and it ended up being his caliper bracket.
I just finished jacking my car up, and tightening my brackets on both sides, and it's still making the same sound.
After looking at a thread from a long time ago, some guy said he had clunking sounds when going over bumps, (mine's doing that as well), and it could have been his "sway bar end links", or some bushings...
Could you guys give me some tips on figuring out exactly what it is? It's making my car seem like an 80's Nissan... It's sounding pretty bad.
Thanks for any suggestions!
