Brand advice for a new blower belt

I've got a Dayco Polycog belt on mine.....it seems to be performing just fine with my 8-rib 2.35" blower pulley and it’s really quiet……not to mention less expensive than a lot of the others. Had the parts place I deal with carried them, I would have preferred a Gates belt as my first choice. They’re a little noisier, but their solid multi-groove design provides better contact with the pullies than the broken design of a standard style belt, so it reduces belt slippage better than others. But if you’re not having a problem with slipping as it is, you probably won’t need to bother with the Gates.

.....I don't know if you'll have to worry about snapping your other belt. With only 10,000k on it, it still should be in really good shape. If you're worried about belt stretch, keep in mind that your factory tensioner should take up a lot of slack. More than the amount of belt strech you've accumulated for sure.
