Brand new FMS shorties

Got my Fms shorties in the mail today.I got the stainless steel ones,I thought they would be chrome,but thier just plain bare metal.Should I paint these with header paint,or is it ok to leave them plain?

If they are stainless steel, they should be fine. Chrome headers always turn blue from the heat anyway, stainless is better. I painted a set of headers on my old camaro with the high temp paint, like the 1200 degree paint, and they still burned off and corroded. Seems like ceramic coating is the best way to coat headers.
Sounds like you got some sweet headers though.

I just bought a used set of those headers, yea they are stainless, but they still rusted here in Florida. I shot it with some high temp paint, and it looks great.
