Break in period for LCAs?

With my heavy vert and slowmatic, I've never had a problem with traction. When I installed LT headers and o/r x-pipe, I thought that the additional power might make it difficult to hook-up. So, I installed Steeda rear lower control arms. At first, the additional power made my rear tires spin and even slide sideways. To be honest, this was kinda fun but I was wondering about the LCAs. I thought that maybe I would need to purchase some drag radials. But, one week later my tires hardly spins at all. From a dead stop, my car just takes off. There is not even a second gear chirp. So, back to my original question: Is there a break in period of LCAs?

Looks like your pretty well set up with bolt-ons. What's next?

As far as the LCAs, I wonder if the car takes some time to settle with this addition to the suspension.

Short term, Bassani mid length headers and a tune the middle of next month...then??? I have until October before the TMS here in Dallas opens back up (renovations) and I want to be running w my buddies Anniv Cobra Conv that ran a 12.68 so I have some work ahead of me still...
Not really sure about the settling in part w the LCA's. I'm just real happy w their performance. Sure is nice not to just sit and spin isn't it?!? Have you changed out your converter yet? I hear that makes a world of difference!

If I ran the 1/4, the higher stall torque converter would be a good choice. With my daily driving, however, I worry that it will overheat even with a transmission cooler.
