What's the perferred method these days?
Driving-
1) Drive it hard frequently in order to properly set the piston rings and establish a good seal, also "setting in" the other bearings and seals by driving hard
2) Drive like a granny to be as gentle as possible to the fresh seals/rings/etc.
3) Drive normally

Oil
1) Change after 500 miles to get any metal shavings out from the new wear
2) Change at 3,000 miles like normal
3) just change the filter at 500 miles

Manual Tranny
When should I change the fluid on this? is 15,000 OK or should I do it sooner?

Planning on using 5W-30 Mobile 1 Synthetic + Purolator filter

I found this: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=434751&highlight=oil+mobile

I say drive normally until you hit 1,000 miles then change the oil and then take it to the track

At least that's what I did...

Almost about the synthetic oil.. I'm planning on changing to that when my car hits 6000 miles..
