went to my local 1/8 mile to test and tune friday night, and this is what happened on my second pass. First pass was a 7.82 @ 84.11 mph
they just dont make em like they use too.
Looking down the barrel
Clutch and Power Train Precision Gears are ok along with my holcomb motorsports rebuilt trac loc
If you look close you can see the other piece of the axle (with the splines on it) still inside the spidergears

You know its totally funny, When I first started out in the later model mustangs (at first I was a 65-66 mustang man) in 1993 I jumped straight from a SROD in my 1982 GT to a T-5 then to a C-4 automatic, and from a stock 82 GT engine to a 1991 GT engine with 20,000 miles on it, on to a 460 big block.....The point being I missed out on a lot of learning experiences with stock axles, stock parts breakage. During the 82GT to later model car swap I also upgraded to a 9" rearend from moser (in that old car) and missed all the inbetween parts, combos etc. And with this car I'm kinda back to basics, and the best part is thru digital photography get to share all of this with you guys here at stangnet, especially all the newbie fox body mustang owners.....that is a kewl deal in itself. Kinda re-learning all the items I missed and getting to share it too. How cool is that?:SNSign: :SNSign: :SNSign:
