Broke Block - Lower Intake Bolt Hole...What now?

Wow, wonder what caused that? I think you would be ok with a longer intake bolt, just tap that hole out and make sure its clean.

someone else suggest that as well and I think it would be a great idea except that's the bolt that the heater pipe bolts to and I need one of those double sided bolts...I don't know where to get one of those. I remember I couldn't find a double sided bolt for my water pump and had to go to ford...since I need one longer than stock, I really don't know where to go!

My mom thinks maybe a shop could bronze those pieces back in or something

You can always cut that tab off the heater piping. I ended up cutting it off mine because when I took the bolt off for the first time that tab twisted. I used a good set of avation tin snips. If it wont seal then you can always pick up another head cheep and replace that one head.

yes what they said above. being it's not right by a water passage port, clean that hole real good with a tap or some cleaner or both, get a new bolt or make sure the old one is perfectly clean, and iol the threads when torquing it evr so carefully and it should be fine.......as long as the rst of those threads inside are good and if you maybe torque it slightly less than the others.....putting a stud in it instead of a bolt would be even better...i hate it when stuff like that happens.........p.s.........becarefull using torque wrenches.........make sure it's a new one or a high quality one, sometimes the guage type one's work better than the click type for stuff like that, being a torque wrech is so long if it's off a little it is really off alot because of the lenth of the wrench.........
