Hiya guys, my 93 5.0 drivers seat upper part is broken somehow to the point that it has no support to my right shoulder. I just had the seats reupholstered and the guy that did it was supposed to fix it and did not. Anyone experience the same problem, if so is it fixable or can I just buy the upper portion of the seat instead of the whole (its a power seat and that would be easier) Do I just shop junkyards or does anyone know where else it can be found ? Thanks for your input.

K, thanks. My guy who installed seat covers said he would do exactly that and blew it off. I would try to do it myself but don't want to ruin the new covers. Man it would be great if you had pics of your repair so I'd have a blueprint to follow and not screw it up....

I've been putting off this fix for a while now, but I think its come time that I have to tackle it. Here is a guide I found last year. Good luck with it, and post some pics if you fix it!

unfortunately that cars long gone now should have documented it seeing as its so common. get the carpet pulled up and the seat unbolted and youll see exactly what you need to do though.

You take it back to that A-hole and tell him to fix it.
