Was closing off the valve on the radiator yesterday and thought the ratchet was all the way off but it wasn't and pulled down on the wrench snapping the plastic head off. Is it just a matter of getting a new one? This would be the valve release on the passengerside bottom if i wasn't clear.
Also what is the actual name for it?

I think you just wanted to say petcock!

Actually this came up in another thread a few weeks ago

Yeah, it's apparently pretty common. Autozone type places sell them.

They should have one on the help rack at Murrays/Autozone. IF not, try a radiator shop...they will prolly give you one for free. My rad shop has a huge box full of them.

To get that old one out, try an easy out.
