Drivers side tab that mounts the stone guard is cracked off, passenger side is half cracked. Also some stress cracks where the valence mounts. . .

Can these be screwed, glued, welded, soldered, anything?

Thanks!

I ordered some repair tabs from EBay. The are designed to be bonded on. In my case my balance is solid without them. Si I did not use. And it is not noticeable.

They can be welded ,its more like a solder for pot metal .Any welding shop should have it .It is tricky to use because if not hot enough it will not weld,if to hot it will melt everything .I have repaired several extensions from 65 -70 and it is very strong .
A lot of guys are using an epoxy to fix them .I think you can get the kit from either Mustangs Unlimited or NPD.

That is a pretty common place for 67 -68 to break ,that and the tab that holds the front valance .Not sure if Jb weld would hold ,i would try the repair kit from Mustangs Unlimited . I have a couple of 67 and 70 buckets i need to repair ,soon as i get some time i will post a thread using the weld fix .

That is a pretty good looking bracket ,it wouldn't bother me to use them.

Those repair tabs look nice! But those tabs on mine aren't broken, it's the inside ledge that holds the stone guard. . .I'd take a free set though just in case if you still have some I haven't been able to find any repair kits for 67-68, but they do have one for 64-66 on MustangUnlimited.

Thanks!

Well, went online to look up how to solder pot metal. I was actually pretty successful until I tried to finish filling in some of the gaps. . .2 seconds 2 long, and the end collapsed like a wet towel, lol. So driver side ruined Passenger isn't broken off but is cracked in several spots, torn at the tabs, and bent at the bumper bracket lip. . .I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered repo's. They were on sale. I hope they fit marginally better than the sheet metal I'm cussing at

Are you talking about the fender itself?
