Someone broke into my ****ing 2001 Cobra last night. Its got a busted drivers side window. Want to know how stupid people are? My 2001 Lightning was right next to it and they did not touch it, it had a nice sweatshirt, a set of my handcuffs, my police bag, and cap in it in plain view. Looks like they popped the window with a screwdriver so it made little noise I would assume. My manual is still in the glove box, my car cover still in the trunk, and my checkbook still in the center console…MORONS! Looks like the only thing they checked was the center console, for what I don’t know my check book was in there but the thing is still set to the next check with the plastic cover in place so it appears no checks were taken that I can see. (Although I don’t know what check number should be next in line.) I keep my Glock 26 in there sometimes so I am thankful it was in the apt with me.(not like i leave it in there) The doors are still locked so I don’t think they even opened the door. I filed a report with the Greenwood PD and am trying to contact the apt complex now. Good thing we did not get that 4” snow we were expecting, now I need to get a hold of USAA and try and cover my window. I was going over to pay taxes on it Monday or Tuesday too…. I hate THIEVES. I really need to get a house with a garage.
