Odometer stopped turning, pulled gauge cluster apart and guess what... gear was broken.

Anyone know if any other Ford vehicle has the same type of gear in it???

Nope! I doubt our dash cluster is like any other car. Have you called Ford for a quote on the part? What about a speedo shop? They have tons of those parts, or can get access quickly.

The dash in the 99+ are extremely similar. Maybe they might fit. But you are probably stuck finding a 94-98.

That sucks... Id hate to put an old gear back in there to have it break again. I have a friend who is a machinist... maybe I'll have a batch of them made up.

The large side of that gear is paper thin.

Dont sweat it man, everyone I talk to says the gear out of any of the v6 clusters works just fine, and there are plenty of them in junk yards. Check out the classifieds on corral and stangnet, I ended up getting a whole used cluster for 35, and Ive got whats left of it in the attic in case anything else breaks. Just post that you are looking for a used cluster.

I found one at the junkyard for 35.

Gonna go pick it up after I get some new tires today.
