64 1/2 289 that is being disassembled. Sat fr 30 years without being started. All pistons but one came out with the top ring broken. Number 5 piston moves freely in the cylinder but will not come out. All cylinders have a slight ridge on top. Crank has been removed. Any ideas?

Sounds like it will need bored. Just take a long sturdy wooden rod (like a shortened shovel handle) and knock it out from the bottom.
