building a 95 5.0

i'm looking for some pointers on building my first 5.0 street/strip performance. just a little somethin to bump around in! so much to do but don't really know where to start?

Moved to 94-95 Tech.

What kind of budget are you looking at and are you looking to stay normally aspirated, or any power adders? Do you have any mods done already to build upon?

yeah, gotta give us a budget to go with and anything that's currently on the car

410 gears, bbk 70mm t/b& cold air intake, bbk underdrive pullys! dont really know where to go from there, budget not really one, but not to crazy

you have to give us a $$$ to work with... because not going crazy to you might mean something different to someone else....

Depending on your skill level, much of the following can be done with that budget, but you'll have to get some used parts.

Better heads can be found used.

Cam such as the one in my profile is nice on the street, and is computer friendly for our 94-95 ECM. PM me if you are interested, I am going custom cam. You can get used cams all day for $100, but beware that most of them would require a tune. Don't underestimate the potential cost of that.

Port your lower intake. Tom Moss will do it for just a bit over $100 for dyno proven power. You can buy a new intake but the power increase per dollar spent isn't good with a stock cam and heads.

A few exhaust mods if you are stock.

A bit of suspension work like subframe connectors.
