I'm always kicking around ideas for engines I'd like to build. One week it's a blown 302, the next a carb 302, the next a 390 FE, then a 408, and so on and so on.
So the otherday I start thinking about a stock bore 342. Carburated with a Weiand Stealth Intake (which I already have). About 9.5:1 compression and AFR185 heads.
What kind of cam ('95 roller cam block) would be best for this motor with an operating range of idle to say 5500? And what kind of power could be reasonably expected?
