For the past couple months I have been researching about a new motor for my cobra. I finally said lets do it so I have been working on the motor and engine bay for over a month now. Motor is built and back in the car, I just need fluids and some buttoning up of some other stuff and I will be ready to start it up this weekend. I can't wait to see what kind of power I will be looking at with my combo.
Eagle 331 stroker crank and rods, Probe Forged Pistons, TFS TW Heads, Track Heat Intake, E303 cam, TFS 1.7 rollers, Pro Products SFI Balancer, Canton pan-girdle-windage tray, BBK 75mm TB, BBK ceramic coated shorties

Here are some pics...

Its beautiful. I plan on doing a similar build except with a custom cam/internally balanced 331/and a dart block built for boost.

What brand headers are you using?

Actually they are stockers which I wire brushed and painted with black hi temp paint...I had ordered me up some stainless ARP ones for a 302 but 2 bolts out of the whole kit fit the timing cover. I would never get that kit again because ARP did not mention that they won't fit a 94-95 timing chain cover. They are very different than an earlier 302's cover...

just the long block has heads and part of the top end on it, the short block is just the bare block with pistons and the rest of the bottom end in it, as I gather

Correct me if I'm wrong though

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
