ok, i still have a couple of calls to make before i decide to try a stroker or just get a reg. forged 4.6

one call to fox lake and one to my tuner/mechanic too see what they think with my set up.

anyway, i e mailed vt and they said stroker would be fine! they use 21cc will give me 9.2:1 compression. How is this for compression? is it low enough?

i will be running 12-15 psi and it has to run on pump gas.

if this compression is ok, how has my stage 2 ported heads influenced compression?

isnt there a change there or is it too minor to worry about?

thanks guys......thinking of ordering before the sale ends. if i miss it, ill just get the blower part of the set up first. tryin to save 500 bucks though.

hmmmm. wonder why he suggested that? maybe that was just an idea he was giving me. it was over email so i dont know, i thought it was his suggestion. what compression am i shooting for guys?

i know the stroker has a different set up choices as far as pistons and compression.

wow, thats high compression. i def want to go lower then 10.1.1

even with the intercooler. is 9 good or should i go down to 8?

what do you think will be better to run 12-14 psi through with the intercooler?

8.5.1 --9.1.1 compression for blower is weary good, you can run higher boost on the pump gas and make a good power...............
But i suggest to call Tim @ modular power house and talk to him for the best combo, here you gonna get different answers from different people and get confused.
Like I said call Tim@ MPH or call Scott @VT engines, you gonna get the best info from this guys.
Good luck.

so i should be good with 9.2.1 at those boost levels.

you guys think im good with that compression untill 20 psi? i might try to add more boost down the road but never 20. highest would be 15. i have to see what boost levels i start out with on the 2.9 pully and go from there.
